The Porsche Spyder was a race car for all occasions. Ken Miles drove it in Los Angeles traffic. For Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, it was the springboard to a global career. Hans Herrmann not only achieved his first major class victories in the Spyder, he also made an impressive comeback after his serious Formula 1 accident. The small sports car was even well-received by the ladies. Ruth Levy Raymond said: "I enjoyed the wonderful feeling of sitting in a car that was tailor-made for me."
