APHex I

A collection of the anonymous hexametrical texts on papyri in the form of a bibliographical catalogue, containing editions of texts, translations, and a short commentary. Adespota Papyracea Hexametra Graeca makes available to scholars in the fields of Classics and Papyrology revised editions of texts, a large number of which published in summary form more than a century ago and no longer attainable from the publishers. The volume sheds new light on unattributed compositions from the Hellenistic, Imperial and Early Byzantine times and their circulation in Graeco-Roman Egypt.
