Abiotic Stress Responses in Plants

Living organisms are exposed to environmental conditions that frequently impose constrains on growth and development. The environment of the living organisms is affected by internal as well as external environmental conditions. Environmental changes irrespective of source cause a variety of stresses. Prolonged primary stresses cause oxidative stress. Much of the injury to plants caused by stress exposure is associated with oxidative damage at the cellular level.
