World Congress of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering 2006

The World Congress of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering was held on August 27 to September 1, 2006 in Seoul, Korea. By tradition, size, and above all quality, the triennial Congress jointly organized by the IFMBE, IOMP and IUPESM incorporating the International Conference on Medical Physics and the International Conference for Medical and Biological Engineering is the most important scientific event in this field.
The proceedings of the World Congress 2006, the fourteenth conference in this series, offer a strong scientific program covering a wide range of issues and challenges currently present in Medical physics and Biomedical Engineering. About 2500 peer reviewed contributions are presented in a multi-volume book, comprising 25 tracks, joint conferences and symposia, including invited contributions from the most prestigious and well-known researchers in this fields.
