Aging and Age-Related Disorders covers data describing the role of free radicals and antioxidants ie; oxidative stress that deal with clinical and pre-clinical trials, as well as basic research using animal models. There is increasing evidence that oxidative stress is a causative, or at least a supportive factor in normal aging and age-related disorders. Oxidative stress plays a regulatory role in transcription, signal transduction, gene expression and membrane trafficking.
