Cardiac CT Imaging

CT is a revolutionary technique in the assessment of cardiac structure and function. It is especially useful in evaluating the myocardium, coronary arteries, pulmonary veins, thoracic aorta, pericardium, and cardiac masses, such as thrombus of the left atrial appendage. As such, there is the need to bring together all the imaging findings of the use of cardiac CT in these disorders and present them in a clinically relevant manner appropriate for residents and fellows in both cardiology and radiology.
